May 14-17
Happy May Long Weekend everyone! This week, our main focus was preparing for our play on Tuesday. We also started a geometry unit in Math and completed our second French paragraph for the Passion project.
Next week, we will complete our second English paragraph for the Passion project, continue our unit in geometry and finish our Science unit in energy. Alongside all the academics, we will also attend a presentation about recycling and take part in a workshop called Body Science. The first of three sessions will be later this week and the last two sessions will occur the following week. Finally, the Grade 4s will begin the DART assessment as well.
A quick reminder that our performance of "Olivier cherche sa place" will take place this Tuesday at 1:30 at the Sagebrush Theatre. Family and friends are more than welcome to come watch this 100% student-led play. From the music to costumes to the acting, it is 100% driven by the kids!
