To kick this review off, I want to officially announce that my contract has been extended until the end of the year. I am super excited and extremely grateful that I get to finish off the last two terms with your kids. I still have lots of learning to do and so do the students!
This week, we focused on the past tense in French, practised our multiplication and its related division, and continued our discussion about the ripple effect across the curriculum. Today, I introduced paragraph structure in English which will be our main focus until the end of the term. For those students who were sick the past couple of days or who are on vacation, I have hyperlinked the documents above so that you can take a look at the notes before returning to school. Next week, we will also be learning how to multiply three-digit numbers by one-digit numbers.
Things to look for in your child's agenda: their interim report if you have not yet seen it!
Things to look for in your child's agenda in the upcoming week: their multiplication assignments, their vocab quiz, and a science experiment that they will do at home during one of the Pro D days.
As for vocab words this week, we will be focusing on high frequency English words starting Monday until report cards.
