Happy Weekend everyone!
This week was short, but action-packed: we spent Wednesday at the Wildlife Park and went skating on Friday. I really enjoyed the Grasslands Biome workshop that the students attended, but I think the highlight of the trip for the students was the maze. Thanks again to all the parent volunteers that we had for both field trips! The students also finished off their Science projects and began some work on decimals in Math.
Next week, the students will be partnering up and combining their individual letters in order to create their Escape Room. I look forward to seeing the collaborative process unfold and their finished products! Later in the week or the following week, depending on time, the students will be simulating their Escape Rooms for Mme Kirby's class. Alongside the Escape Rooms, the students will also have a short quiz on addition and subtraction to complete.
The vocabulary words will remain the same as last week: un lion de mer, un porc-épic un orignal, un loup gris, un castor and un ours noir.
