Nov. 6-10
This week, we nearly finished our Escape Room project, continued working in our interactive French grammar notebooks, began a book report, tried out curling in the gym and worked hard on subtraction. At the same time, we also spent quite a bit of time preparing for the Remembrance Day assembly that we had today!
Next week, our focus will be finishing the Escape Room project, alongside our two field trips. A friendly reminder that our Wildlife Park field trip is on Wednesday and our skating field trip at Memorial Arena is Friday. Thank you to all the parents that volunteered to help out!
As for the rest of this term, the students will present/simulate their Escape Room projects to Mme Kirby's class, finish their book report, begin writing their own book and start an in-depth exploration of multiplication/division. There is always so much to do in Mlle Fenrich's class!
Next week's (and the following week's) vocabulary words are: un lion de mer, un porc-épic un orignal, un loup gris, un castor and un ours noir.
